We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated and fun candidate to work as a substitute teacher/ assistant floater, for our different class levels.
We serve children between 12 months - 6 years old
Responsibilities:
Assist students as needed in different classrooms ranging from 12 months old to 6 years old
Be punctual: School Hours are 7 am -3:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
Days for substitution to be assigned, depending on school needs.
Treat children with love, kindness, and respect and passion for learning.
Assist with activities, children supervision, snack and environment preparation, light cleaning duties, diaper change, children personal hygiene/care.
Contribute to a happy and positive workplace
Skills Required
12 ECE (Early Childhood Education) Units
Montessori experience is a BIG PLUS!
Experience working in a school setting helpful, but not required
Have strong interpersonal skills: a friendly and helpful disposition with attention to detail.
Flexible and reliable individual.
Working toward a degree in education helpful, but not required
Experience working with infants and toddlers
Familiar with the DFPS - Child Care Minimum Standards
CPR/FIRST AID certified
Available to work during the summer
Most be flexible, willing to work as part of a team, adaptable to change and creative!
