Position Summary
St.
Anthony Catholic High School (SACHS) is seeking an experienced part-time Head Track Coach.
The position is expected to coach with the mission of St.
Anthony Catholic High School and our Core Values of Honesty & Integrity, Community, Service & Social Justice, Scholarship, and Holistic Education.
The Head Track Coach reports to the SACHS Athletic Director.
St.
Anthony Catholic High School prepares young men and women for positions of responsibility and leadership through a college preparatory curriculum based on Catholic values and traditions.

Job Duties
Job Duty Name Essential Duties
Description of Job Duties
Organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities/exercises.
Assesses players skills, monitors players during competition and practice.
Assists with determining game strategy.
Supervises athletes during practices and competition.
Follows established procedures in the event of an athlete’s injury.
Models good sportsmanship behavior and maintains appropriate conduct towards players, officials and spectators.
Participates in special activities to include senior night, athletic banquet, booster club meetings, and pep rallies.
Works with the assistant coach regarding eligibility, inventory, and other related paperwork.
Attends staff meetings, clinics and other professional activities to improve coaching performance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills.
Must possess a thorough knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies and techniques of the sport.
Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, parents and students.
Required Education
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Required Work Experience
Two (2) years high school coaching experience.
College competition experience may substitute for high school coaching on
a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors Degree.
Experience as a player of the sport.
Some experience as a Head Track coach.
Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations
Must have a valid CDL or the ability to obtain CDL within 3 months of hire.
Driving record that is insurable by UIW insurance carrier.
Must be at least 21 years of age, as required to drive for UIW.
Work Hours
Mon-Fri after school (school days only) from 3:30-5:30pm.
Game schedule attendance is mandatory.

Typical for coach in the sport.
