Truck Driver (OTR)

Responsibilities: - Must be able to strap/tarp on flatbed - Must be able to be gone for 21 days at a time - Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving - Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage - Communicate with dispatch to ensure timely delivery of goods - Adhere to company policies and procedures for safe and efficient operation Skills: - Proficient in manual transmission operation - Experience with automotive repair and maintenance - Ability to load and unload materials using proper techniques - Knowledge of route planning and navigation for efficient delivery - Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and requirements - Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping - Forklift certification is a plus As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods.
Your skills in operating various types of trucks, loading and unloading materials, and navigating routes will be essential to your success in this position.
Additionally, your knowledge of automotive repair will allow you to handle any minor maintenance issues that may arise during your trips.
