Flatbed Truck Driver

Responsibilities: - Safely and efficiently operate a truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations - Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely delivery - Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or heavy machinery - Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption - Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors regarding any issues or delays Requirements: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Proven experience as a truck driver or delivery driver - Ability to operate different types of trucks, including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or other heavy equipment vehicles - Familiarity with loading and unloading procedures using forklifts or other equipment - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries - Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading tasks - Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
