Freight Brokers Wanted! (San Antonio, TX)

Balsa Logistics LLC is hiring a Freight Agents / Brokers with experience in the USA and Mexico market.
This position is seeking both sales and operations responsibilities, He/She should be a strong operator with carrier management and negotiation skills but also highly motivated with proven sales skills.
Responsibilities: -Develop and maintain a professional rapport among customers-shippers and carriers -Responsible to deal with transportation companies and truck drivers -Booking, brokering and moving freight -Resolve any issues related to carriers and/or customer -Manage shipper and receiver relationships -Generate business leads -Prospect and secure new customers -Negotiate rates -Working closely with a team of associates to improve processes Requirements: Minimum 3 years of transportation brokering experience FTL/LTL, Expedited Excellent written, verbal communication skills, and problem solver Ability to stay calm in a fast-paced energetic environment Previous experience with any TMS and load boards Having a current Book of Business is a plus Very organized and detail oriented Border Crossing experience with Mexico is a plus.
Bilingual proficiency is a plus! English / Spanish
