Overview:
The Application Delivery Administrator plays a vital role in the delivery, installation, and support of applications within the organization.
Leveraging expertise in Windows platforms, Active Directory, scripting, and virtualization technologies, this role encompasses end-to-end software packaging activities, comprehensive testing, and dedicated support for both physical and virtual environments.
The focus lies on quality assurance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement in alignment with organizational goals and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
Build, customize, and test installation packages for Windows 10, in both physical and virtual desktop environments.
Validate sources, troubleshoot, and provide L3 support for package functionality.
Collaborate with App Owners for proper packaging and testing.
Address issues and emergencies within SLAs and work to resolve problems and complaints.
Work with Application Delivery Manager on implementing policies and following through with implementations.
Remediate issues discovered during testing or deployment, including providing L3 support for desktops, laptops, and virtual environments.
Prepare, build, update, and maintain optimized virtual machines using VMware vSphere.
Document customizations and changes made during the packaging process.
Ensure compliance with testing procedures and provide incident resolution support.
Communicate with end users about the expected result during software pushes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical discipline, OR a minimum of 3 years equivalent work experience.
4 years of packaging experience, with extensive knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Registry, and ability to query or modify settings.
3 years of IT system administration experience.
Knowledge of PowerShell and scripting.

Knowledge of Windows operating systems patching, and software such as Windows.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including technical documentation.
Ability to develop and drive initiatives with minimal oversight or guidance.
Proven track record in a demanding, customer service-oriented environment.
Excellent analytical and organizational abilities, problem-solving skills, and working experience with tools such as Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MECM), and VMware Horizon.
Ability to work 8am – 5pm, Monday-Friday, with overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with tools like ManageEngine Service Desk, Active Directory, VMware Horizon, and VMware vSphere.
Understanding of Active Directory, including replication and GPO.
Knowledge about Microsoft Config Manager (previously known as SCCM), Microsoft Intune tools.
Experience in managing test collection for packages, deployments.
Experience in developing PowerShell scripts to automate repeated processes.
Advanced knowledge of registry, permissions, and drivers.
Knowledge of Windows 10 and 11, Windows 365, Office 365.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune features, capabilities, and best practices.
Experience with developing written plans.
