The Spurs Club will be the first-of-its-kind in the NBA, featuring multiple bars, fine dining, lounge and personal workspace all with private elevator access and exclusive views of the Spurs practice courts.
THE ROLE The Member Service Associate plays a pivotal role in providing an exceptional experience by seamlessly blending host experience with the efficiency of a front desk agent.
Responsible for creating a welcoming and memorable atmosphere for guests, while assisting with check-in, check-out, and various desk duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES Efficiently check-in and check-out guests, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
Assists with reservations, billing, and additional information with consideration to guest preferences and special requests.
Acute knowledge of club amenities, service, and perks.
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
Handle billing and payments accurately.
Address and resolve guest issues, additionally offer assistance and recommendations to enhance stay.
Ensures that the front desk remains clean and sufficiently stocked; order replacement items.
Coordinate special requests and requirements with other departments.
Enforces alcohol policies and procedures.
Works with other stand personnel to properly clean equipment and organize stock for next event.
Must be knowledgeable of all positions adapt to changing roles and responsibilities, depending on guest flow and operational requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Must be at least 21 years old.
One (1) year solid experience as a host/hostess in an upscale establishment, restaurant, or front desk.
Must be able to work long periods of time with constant standing, walking, and lifting.
Must be able to remain calm under stressful situations.
Must be able to smile, maintain positive body language, and consistently provide positive guest service.
Must be able to generalize, evaluate, and make decisions without immediate supervision.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
