Customer Service Associate

*Title: *Customer Service Associate *Reports to:* Assistant Store Manager *Classification:* Hourly / Non-Exempt Our Customer Service Associates play an important role in the success of a store team.
The Customer Service Associate focuses on exceeding customer expectations through helping customers find products, maintaining clean and well-stocked aisles filled with product, and completing customer transactions while displaying a positive, friendly attitude.
*What We Offer* * Balanced work-life integration with Sundays off * Employee discounts * Tuition reimbursement after first year * Paid time off for vacation & sick leave * Medical, vision & dental benefits * Life insurance for all our associates * Matching 401k program *What You Will Do* * Exceed customer expectations with prompt and courteous service in the store and on the phone * Operate the front registers (POS systems) including checking out customers, accepting payments via credit card, cash, check and charge accounts * Assist customer with finding products & provide guidance on products we offer * Assist with carrying product to customer’s vehicle or arrange delivery when needed * Work with a team to keep a clean and safe environment for associates and customers * Work with a team on merchandising aisles including front, restocking and dusting shelves *What You Will Need* * Excellent customer service skills, dependability and integrity * Able to operate a computer up to four hours at a time * Pass a pre-employment physical & drug screen * Able to stand & walk up to 8 hours a day * Able to lift & lower boxes & products up to 50lbs * High School Diploma or equivalent Candidates with prior experience working in a retail or foodservice environment are preferred.
