The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Security and Fire Operations Specialist to join the team in San Antonio, TX.
This selected candidate will perform Security & Fire Protection duties across multiple subject areas at the San Antonio site.
Position Responsibilities: Ensures compliance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and other fire codes/regulations Participates in insurance inspections related to fire protection measures Provides fire guidance for new build areas or reconstruction Oversees contractual compliance of contracted fire protection personnel Uses tools of the protection trade to accomplish assignments Conducts and documents complex advances, acts as detail leader or event coordinator, creates detailed after-action reports and negotiates with internal/external support personnel as well as Interfaces with Executive Council and Board of Director members Produces outlines, subject matter, conducts research, uses office applications for the training purposes and identifies key equipment necessary to deliver training Delivers training in accordance with customer requirements Responds to emergency calls for assistance to mitigate hazardous situations Acts as Incident Commander and determines and implements the appropriate course of action Completes appropriate notification and documentation Develops incident response protocols and guidelines Communicates with site security managers, Ethics, Law Department and local and federal agencies, regarding investigation results Performs risk assessments based on trend analysis Defines task to be performed at plant sites within established protocols and guidelines Schedules and delegates work assignments Assists in management of training programs Guides the development of information protection policies and strategic, tactical and operational planning activities for information protection program sustainability Oversees the design, development and implementation of risk management programs, processes and procedures for the protection of company people, property, information and interests Guides the development of risk management policies and strategic, tactical and operational planning activities for risk management program sustainability Develops schedules and distributes work assignments Implements and administers policies, programs, and plans for the protection of sensitive government and company information Consults with customers and company and external organizations to recommend and propose new or alternative solutions, improvements, and enhancements Investigates, analyzes, and resolves complex questions and problems Provides guidance and training to less experienced personnel This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

) Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience with NFPA fire protective standards and implementation 3+ years of experience reviewing and approving invoices 3+ years of experience with site Security and Fire Operational 3+ years of experience with contract management 3+ years of experience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives 3+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience with auditing Experience with Security & Fire Protection Operations policies and procedures Experience verifying and processing invoices Experience conducting Service Level Assessment (SLA) reviews with service contractors; mutually addressing service delivery issues, lessons learned, and best practices Presentation skills for multiple audiences, including executive leadership Written and verbal communication expertise for interaction in dynamic executive environment Typical Education & Experience: Typically, 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience.

Bachelor, Master, etc.
) preferred, but not required.
