The Dental Imaging Collaborative Environment (DICE) team provides systems engineering, analysis, and technical support to our DoD customer.
This position will provide part-time application/tool development services to maintain existing team tools and create new tools as identified, including MS Access/VBA and PowerShell scripts.
The position requires flexibility to adapt to changing application security and 3rd party vendor software updates that may require updates or re-writes of existing tools.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve existing software tools and scripts that support initiatives such as data validation, data analysis, and cyber security compliance.
Develop and test software to meet consumers' and clients' needs.
Identify areas for modification in existing programs and develop customer-approved modifications.
Write and implement efficient code based on requirements.
Monitor quality and performance of applications through testing and maintenance.
Develop quality assurance procedures.
Create automated unit and integration test cases.
Participate in testing and evaluation of new software tools.
Develop low code/no code solutions.
Develop application programing interfaces (API’s) for web and mobile applications as needed.
Develop technical documentation to guide future software development projects.
Support other tasks as needed and assigned.
Required Skills/Experience:
Must be a U.
S.
Citizen.
Holds a successfully completed in-scope NACLC, T3, or higher background investigation or is eligible for an interim public trust while undergoing a new NACLC, T3, or higher background investigation.
10 years of experience in software development or software engineering.
5 years of experience performing Object Oriented Programming (OOP).
Experience with tools, languages, and frameworks such as MS Access, VBA, C++, C#, PowerShell, Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Java, Microsoft (MS) Office 365 suite, MS Visual Studio 2019, Model View Controller (MVC).
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Active Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an IT-related discipline or equivalent experience.
DoD 8570.
01-M IAT Level II compliant (see https://public.

MCSE certification or equivalent.
3 years of experience developing and maintaining PowerShell scripts.
Experience working with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
Experience with multi-threading.
Experience with Windows macros.
