The Opportunity
As an Intranet Software Engineer Intermediate Level, you will provide day to day support to the Enterprise through delivering best in class technology solutions.
You will also be engaged in all phases of the software systems and application development lifecycle which include gathering and analyzing requirements, designing, testing, documenting, and implementing software, or responding to outages.
You will work on domains like Go, Connect Main page, Frontline Digest, The Post, and other Intranet Tools.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week.
This position can be based in locations: San Antoni, TX or Phoenix, AZ, Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
What you'll do:
Design, develop, code, and test technical solutions
Write code to deliver features, and improvements, on a regular basis
Investigates and resolve technical problems and production issues through troubleshooting techniques
Continually improves operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
Follows the software development lifecycle.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
2 years of software development experience specific to a discipline/technology.
1 year of experience delivering technology solutions in all phases of the software systems and application development lifecycle.
Basic Understanding of one or more of the following: Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL
Knowledge and understanding of troubleshooting applications and systems within production issues.
Ability to quickly understand applicable business acumen to provide appropriate Engineering solutions
Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
Basic understanding of cloud technologies and tools.
What sets you apart:
Experience with .
Net Core and C# or if only have Java willing to learn .
Net quickly
Ability to implement, deploy, and maintain container-based applications using OpenShift
Development experience with HTML, CSS, and React
Experience in processing and consuming data using REST framework
Knowledge of ITIL framework processes (ie; Incident, Knowledge, Change)
Experience in working with SharePoint PowerApps Workflow
What we offer:
Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive.
You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position.
The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
The salary range for this position is: $ 71,490.
