To explore and learn more, click here! Leidos is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the Software Developer position for the Integrated Defensive Cyber Systems Contract.
The ideal candidate will support a high-profile program on a project that produces highly visible products for senior leadership.
The individual will be responsible for activities associated with development, upgrades, maintenance, research and development and testing.
The ideal candidate will have AWS experience developing for the cloud to include complete secure cloud integrations, optimizing cloud connectivity, and managed cloud services.
This position is located near Lackland Air Force Base; all work is onsite.
Primary Responsibilities: Develop software to enable Air Force Cyber Protection Teams to find and defeat adversary personnel and malware on Air Force or assigned networks Participate in SCRUM events with airmen for agile development is support of defensive cyber operations Collaborate with the overall program team to design and develop new applications.
Integrate new solutions into existing applications, ensuring seamless functionality and compatibility.
Analyze and address complex application development needs, identifying effective solutions.
Explore and recommend potential new tools and technologies to enhance application performance and functionality.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of Javascript software development principles.
Be proactive in learning and implementing new skills to stay abreast of industry trends and advancements.
Utilize expertise in web application development to troubleshoot issues and perform software upgrades.
Ensure the smooth functioning of products and services across development, test, and production AWS environments.
Work within a DevOps environment, actively contributing to Agile development processes.
Utilize code delivery mechanisms such as Maven, Ant, and continuous build systems like Jenkins and Git for efficient code deployment.
Manage code repositories using tools like Subversion and implement continuous delivery solutions such as Jenkins or Puppet.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and at least 4+ years of prior relevant experience, or Master’s with 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript.
Hands-on experience with SQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.
Demonstrated expertise in developing and maintaining data systems, databases, and managing complex datasets.
Proven ability in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction and report generation.
Experience in identifying patterns, trends, and developing prediction models, as well as creating data tables and graphs for presentation.
Skilled in performing data cleanup tasks, including removing corrupted data and rectifying coding errors.
Development experience with Node.
js.
Proficient in developing REST APIs.
Experience with C# development on MS Windows.
Familiarity with TypeScript.
Must possess an active Secret clearance, and the ability to obtain TS/SCI w/Poly clearance is required to be considered.
Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in analyzing data to create and develop machine learning models.
Experience in software quality assurance and testing using various technologies.
Technical knowledge of data quality, data modeling, analytics, and predictive modeling.
Experience with Mobile Development, either iOS or Android platforms.
Proficiency in using git at the command-line for version control.
Familiarity with Elastic Experience with automated testing as part of CI/CD software development Experience working with development environments on Mac platforms.
Familiarity with the Linux Command Line Interface (CLI) and Linux scripting.
Experience working with Sequelize ORM.
Proficiency in working with VS Code as an integrated development environment (IDE).
Familiarity with MS Visual Studio, Apple configurator, iPad/iPhone MDMs, and AWS would be advantageous.
Active TS/SCI clearance preferred.
