* Design, implement, and maintain ITSI solutions to monitor the performance, availability, and security of IT systems.
* Develop and optimize Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts using SPL to provide actionable insights for IT operations and management.
* Integrate ITSI with other IT management tools and systems for seamless data collection, analysis, and visualization.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define ITSI requirements and translate them into effective monitoring solutions.
* Develop and maintain ITSI documentation, including standard operating procedures, best practices, and user guides.
*Skills *:
* Experience with advanced configuration of Splunk ITSI (including Entity Integrations, Service Insights, and Event Analytics)
* Experience developing custom ITSI Glass Tables and Service Trees.
* Strong SPL experience working with advanced searching and reporting.
* Solid Linux and Windows foundation with an emphasis of Unix/Linux CLI.
* Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
* Strong understanding of enterprise network architectures and services.
* Experience with Linux administration.
* Experience with Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
* Highly motivated player -- proactive approach, takes initiative, problem-solver
* Excellent communication skills are necessary
* Must be able to communicate effectively with minimal supervision both verbally and in writing.
*Qualifications: *
* Minimum 6-8 years of relevant IT systems engineering or cybersecurity experience.
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience maintaining and administering Splunk ITSI.
* Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years of direct experience.
*Schedule: *
* Monday to Friday 7:30 am-4:30 pm CST, with some weekend activities; flex time will be allowed to meet schedule and workload needs.
* Remote, with occasional travel to San Antonio, TX area, for working sessions, possible.
Travel and lodging paid by SDV INTERNATIONAL if approved in advance.
