Overview:
GovCIO is currently hiring for an IT Training Specialist for our program with the US Courts.
This position will be a fully remote position with potential to go into San Antonio location intermittently.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deliver technical training programs using accepted teaching methodologies
Deliver high-quality training using tools and technologies, such as Microsoft Teams, Blackboard, and other e-learning products
Provide subject matter knowledge to other teams and program offices
Design assessments and learning activities to assess knowledge transfer
Develop training materials from vendor training and adapt it to client-specific training
Maintain and edit project documentation, using a set of vetted guidelines
Produce professional-quality work within tight deadlines and evolving priorities
Write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts for e-learning content
Partner with other subject matter experts to obtain information, validate content, and evaluate the effectiveness of course delivery
Collaborate with a creative, synergetic team
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 6 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience
6 years of specialized experience working and interacting with others in a structured/team environment
Experience training adult learners and awareness of adult learning principles
Proven experience developing and delivering e-learning content
Proven experience writing lesson plans and curriculum for both live and self-paced courses
Competency in instructional design and instructional technology
Experience working with subject matter experts and identifying a target audience’s training needs
Experience in conducting live training using Microsoft Teams or other video conferencing tools
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with those contacted during the course of work
Excellent organizational, time management, editing, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Flexibility and adaptability to handle competing work demands
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with challenging priorities
Self-motivator and self-starter
Clearance Required: Must be able to acquire and maintain Public Trust
Preferred Skills and Experience
Federal or state court experience

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Posted Salary Range: USD $71,150.
00 - USD $75,000.
