*Kids Drone Flying and STEM Teacher: DroneTogether*
DroneTogether, a STEM based kids enrichment company is looking for an energetic person that will teach/instruct drone flying enrichment classes for grades K-5th.
This is a great opportunity for someone to have an exciting and fun part-time job, with the chance to make a big difference in the lives of students.
Our students have a blast in our innovative and fun classes.
This is a part-time position that will vary between 6-10 hours per week and classes are in the afternoon.
We are adding classes all the time, so the opportunity for more hours is an option, if needed.
Teachers will receive extensive training to begin and have the chance to learn from a mentor teacher.
There is also an opportunity to become a mentor teacher with higher pay if you stay with the company for multiple seasons.
_*Responsibilities:*_
* Must work well with children

* Reliable transportation
* Background check, FBI fingerprint and CPR/First Aid certification are needed
* Reliable email, text and phone communication
* High School Diploma required
* Experience with drone flying is preferred, but not necessary
* Teaching/Class Management experience is preferred

_*Teaching Duties and Responsibilities*_
*Preparation*:
* Attend required trainings
* Maintains equipment in proper condition.
* DroneTogether uniform is worn to each session
* Arrives at least 15 minutes early for each session to be set up the class area
* Has the roster ready for arrival
*Teaching*:
* Ensures the safety and well-being of every child, first and foremost.
* Follow proper on site protocol for each location, as provided by supervisor and/or site director: most importantly is the pick up and drop off of each student.
* Follow the proper daily DroneTogether plan.
* Records student progress through the DroneTogether classroom app.
*Communication/Administration:*
* Communicates in a timely fashion with the supervisor about any changes, challenges, or important information / concerns.
* Distributes marketing material at location when necessary.
* Uses the cell phone app to clock in and clock out of every scheduled session.
