Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team.
As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children under your care.
Your role will involve engaging in age-appropriate activities, promoting social and emotional development, and ensuring the well-being of each child.
Duties: - Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care - Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate learning and development - Create a positive and supportive environment for children to thrive in - Provide basic caregiving tasks such as feeding, diapering, and assisting with personal hygiene - Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and other staff members - Observe and assess children's behavior, reporting any concerns or issues to the appropriate supervisor - Maintain a clean and organized childcare space - Follow all health and safety protocols Requirements: - Previous experience in babysitting, childcare, or related field preferred - Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies - Familiarity with early childhood development principles - First Aid/CPR certification is a plus - Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues - High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in early childhood education or related field is a plus Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
