The Lilypad Garden & Farm School is looking for highly qualified, energetic teachers to love, nurture, care for and teach the children of our school.
Strong skills in classroom management are required.

The hours for after school care are 3:30-6:30, which can be stretched to 7pm for clean up and resetting for the next day.
If a full time position is desired, the shift would be 10-6:30 where the first part of the shift would include covering preschool and elementary classes so the teachers can have their lunch breaks and planning period.
At 3:30, the position would involve being the teacher for a group of school age children that are in after school care.
Strong classroom management skills and experience is required for this role.

*The Lilypad Garden & Farm Schools is looking for a School Teacher for our San Antonio, TX location.
*Responsibilities:*
* Provide a safe, nurturing, and fun learning environment for students in grades K-8
* Encourage students to develop their social and emotional skills through play and other activities
* Provide guidance and direction to students in the academic areas, provide tutoring assistance to students with academic challenges, and assist with making lesson plans and implementing lesson plans
* Work with staff to ensure that all required classroom materials are maintained, cleaned, and available for use by students
* Maintain a positive, cooperative relationship with students, parents, teachers, and other staff members
* Communicate with parents on student progress
* Maintain a professional appearance at all times while working in the classroom
* Other duties as assigned
*Experience:*
* At least 1 year of experience working with children in a classroom setting preferred.
* Previous experience working with children from early childhood or education settings preferred.
* Able to lift up to 40 pounds, use an iPad, and work on walking tours.
Must be able to walk/stand/bend throughout the day.
