* Comply with all Minimum Standards required by licensing
* Maintain an orderly classroom, conducive to learning
* Teach to the standards of performance required by the school
* Establish an effective working relationship with parents, students and other staff members
* Demonstrate competency, good judgment, and self-control in the presence of children and when performing assigned responsibilities
* Relate to children and adults with courtesy, respect, acceptance, and patience
* Recognize and respect the uniqueness and potential of all children, their families, and cultures
* Responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.
* Observes all rules and regulations at Life Church Learning Center West Campus and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.
* Assesses each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis.
* Implement the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule
* Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions.
*Responsibilities*
* Know which children they are responsible for and number in group
* Supervise children at all times
* Ensure the children are not out of control
* *Be free from activities not directly involving teaching, care, and supervision of children.

* Interact routinely with children in a positive manner
* Foster developmentally appropriate independence in children with planned but flexible activities
* Foster a cooperative rather than a competitive atmosphere
* Show appreciation of children’s efforts and accomplishments
* Ensure continuity of care for children by sharing with incoming caregivers, information about each child’s activities during previous shift and any instructions given by parent.
