2008 Cadillac DTS- this is a sweet ride: 8 cylinder, so it does prefer Premium Fuel and only get 12 city/19 highway, but it is a powerful vehicle.
Excellent for long trips.
I am the second owner- this was purchased in Fort Worth and I bought it from the first owner's son in summer of 2021.
It has fairly new tires on it (I live on a gravel road, as you can see in the pics, so I buy the best tire options available).
I have had some work done to it.
Soon after I purchased it, I had all 4 tie rods replaced.
Most recently as a couple weeks ago, I had the following done: Spark Plugs, air filter, EGR Gasket, Ignition Coils, Fuel Injector.
It is running well again, but I decided to buy a newer vehicle and have decided to let this beauty go.
The manual I pictured says 2006, but the VIN number and registration all say 2008, so not sure why the original owner included the 2006 version.
The only thing I'd probably fix if I kept it is (pictured) the driver's side electric window control has a piece of plastic broken that holds it into place.
You can see it slightly sinking into the door.
You would need to order the piece of plastic the holds the gears into place more firmly.
You kind of have to hold it when you wind it down.
It isn't a giant pain, but I'd fix this if I kept the car and I can show it to you in more detail if interested.
No accidents to report here.
I did also photograph the small scrape on the driver side passenger door.
Overall, paint in very good shape.
