Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an electronics technician for the Engineering, Professional, and Administrative Support Services contract, supporting the Air Force Division.
JOB DETAILS
LOCATION: San Antonio, TX
JOB STATUS: FT
TRAVEL: 5%
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
10 years' experience of which 3 years must be in the DoD; or 15 years' experience in lieu of bachelor's degree, of which 5 must be in the DoD.
Top Secret security clearance
Electronics assembly or repair experience
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
Familiarity with USAF maintenance, sustainment, logistics, and acquisition regulations and processes
Good oral and written communication skills
Network+ or Security+ certification is desirable
RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoot and maintain electronic security systems
Assemble procurement packages for purchases of security system equipment
Plan and conduct projects of limited scope, or a portion of a larger project which includes leadership responsibilities, scheduling, and planning activities.
Perform functions such as research, data analysis, development, design, evaluation, inspection, problem solving, production, application, standardization, testing, or operation of electronic security systems and equipment.
