Summary HII Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Service Desk Analyst to handle the Security Tools and Services portion of the support desk to support the Administrative Office of the U.
S.
Courts.
This position can be worked 100% remotely.
What you will do As the first point of contact for our customer, the Service Desk Analyst will be responsible for tracking and resolving issues through various intake channels and work closely with peers to assist with troubleshooting customer issues.
If escalation to the Tier 2 team is required, one will ensure a seamless transition by utilizing ITSM tools to create and track issues/requests, provide timely updates on tickets and follow up with the customer to verify resolution while maintaining a positive attitude at all times.
In addition to customer service skills, the ideal candidate should have experience with network monitoring and firewall management.
This individual will be responsible for monitoring and managing network security systems, identifying and resolving incidents, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
An understanding of network protocols, application monitoring, security technologies, and firewall management tools will be fundamental to the team's success.
What you must have 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
Minimum 2 years of IT work experience required.
Networking/Security background Must have experience with ServiceNow, or a similarly related ticketing system.
Strong understanding of troubleshooting IT issues.
Knowledge of application monitoring and/or network security experience.
Flexibility and adaptability to handle different product service calls.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
