Job Summary and Qualifications The Environmental Services Associates (ESA-1) is responsible for the general cleanliness of the following areas at the Medical Facilities: patient care areas, Administrative areas, ancillary support areas, rest rooms, and all other areas requiring Environmental Services support.
The routine work of this employee, depending upon area of assignment, consists of sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping, surface cleaning all floors, walls, ceilings, sinks, mirrors, showers, commodes, windows, and other glass areas, rooms for the next patient.
Moving of furniture and other heavy equipment is accomplished as directed.
What qualifications you will need: Must read, speak and understand the English language.
Prior cleaning experience in an institution is desired, but not mandatory.
Specific requirements of the position can be learned on the job.
