Job Summary
Under general direction, is responsible for performing complex professional level projects that require a high degree of specialized knowledge.

, Tuesday - Saturday Essential Job Functions Undertakes special project efforts assigned by the Management Team.
Performs efficiency improvement analysis on certain City functions and services.
Performs specialized analysis, including cost of service and performance evaluation, and makes recommendations for solutions to problems.
Assists departments in compiling, organizing and presenting proposals to Management Team and City Council.
Coordinates projects and activities between various divisions, City departments, public agencies and/or private sector representatives.
Seeks and evaluates information from a variety of sources; provides specialized reports as requested by management.
Oversees coordination between divisions/departments throughout duration of projects.
Prepares and delivers presentations.
Coordinates and prepares reports and correspondence in response to requests for information from City Manager's Office and Mayor & Council Offices; may also prepare City Council agenda material such as ordinances, council memos, etc.
Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.
Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
A Master's Degree is highly desirable.
Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in municipal government, business, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing volunteer programs, preferably from inception to maturity.
Ability to create comprehensive program plans, including recruitment strategies, training modules, and evaluation metrics.
Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating diverse volunteer roles within an organization, ensuring effective utilization of volunteers' skills and talents.
Knowledge of best practices in volunteer engagement, retention, and recognition.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead a large and diverse group of volunteers.
Experience in building and managing teams, fostering a positive and collaborative volunteer community.
Proven ability to organize and execute large-scale events, including volunteer orientations, training sessions, and public tours.
Experience coordinating logistics for events, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for volunteers and visitors.
Experience working collaboratively with various divisions or departments within an organization.
Ability to understand the operations of different divisions and effectively integrate volunteers to support each division's specific needs and goals.
