Description
SafeRide Health is looking for a transformational Director of Accounting.
We are looking for a finance leader with technology and/or healthcare industry experience as we scale past $300M in annual revenue.
This role is responsible for elevating SafeRide’s finance function and continuously enhancing the effectiveness of the finance organization.
Strong business and financial orientation as well as a passion for growth and development are critical for this role.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead SafeRide’s Accounting strategy, spanning all lines of operations in close collaboration with SafeRide’s senior leadership.
Attract, Manage, and Retain a best-in-class finance team spanning our California and Texas hubs
Implement scalable and accurate accounting financial operations systems leveraging best-in-class technology.
This includes financial reporting for management, clients, and designated state and federal agencies (e.
g.
, HHSC in Texas).
Ensure SafeRide always has sufficient liquidity by implementing best-in-class A/R and A/P management.
Ensure robust financial controls and best-in-class compliance and audit procedures
Identify the most appropriate Finance metrics to assess the effectiveness of SafeRide’s Finance strategy and broader business goals.
Then continuously improve performance.
Advise SafeRide’s senior leadership on local market or regulatory considerations.
Share emerging best practices, innovation, and new technology to drive our key metrics.
Champion and reinforce SafeRide’s culture.
Required Education and Experience
MBA or CPA Finance strongly preferred
10+ years of Finance experience
6+ years of experience in general ledger accounting with consolidation experience
3+ years of supervisory experience
Process improvement experience / scaling to accommodate growth
Experience with Sage Intacct, Blackline, Quicksight
Prior technology and/or healthcare industry experience
