Accounting Specialist

Cude Engineers is seeking a self-motivated, highly detailed candidate with 3-5 years of general bookkeeping experience.
Qualified candidates should have a high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Must have general knowledge and understanding of accounting principles such as debits and credits and cash vs.
accrual accounting.
Experience with Deltek Vision preferred.
Should have good attention to detail, as well as strong research and investigation skills.
Must be willing to take on all accounting tasks, including simple mathematical calculations, and administrative tasks such as filing and scanning.
Successful candidates will have a positive attitude and be able to work autonomously, as well as part of a team.
Essential Duties: Processing Accounts Payable invoices, to include research, coding and processing for accurate and timely disbursement to vendors Review and reconcile invoice and payment discrepancies Perform data entry associated with accounts payable Audit and process credit card bills Assist with the annual preparation and filing Federal 1099 reporting including obtaining vendor documentation Create Accounts Receivable invoices Light physical duties such as lifting files and boxes Other administrative duties as assigned
