Accountant

The *Accountant* is responsible for maintaining accounting records for RTIS in keeping with GAAP principles.
This role provides support to management of Accounting and Premium Finance departments.
Completes the day-to-day work necessary to ensure that the company financial documents are accurate and current.

*Responsibilities:* * Review general ledger accounts.
* Review financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance.
* Perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements, accounts payables and accounts receivables.
* Data entry in company software system.
* Post journal entries * Research and correct account discrepancies.
* Support field users.
* Assist Premium Finance department.

*Basic Qualifications:* * Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
* One - Two years general accounting experience.
* Ability to work with a variety of software programs.
* Advanced skillset with Microsoft Excel.
